Copilco El Alto is a small neighborhood in Mexico City that is located between Metro Copilco and Metro CU.
Just above Pedregal de Santo Domingo.
It has a reputation for being a tiny bit dangerous or sketchy but overall you can walk through the area and not have problems unless you are unlucky or doing something that brings attention to yourself.
It's not as lively as Santo Domingo. Not as many people in the streets.
Definitely not the worst area to live in though in my opinion.
