All you need to know about Iberian America

Visiting The Archeological Museum of Xochimilco in Mexico City

Published October 1, 2022 in Mexico - 0 Comments

You have the Archeological Museum of Xochimilco in Mexico City.

I forgot what the entrance fee (or if there even was one) but, if there was one, it must've been so low because I don't even remember paying an entrance fee.

It's been a few weeks since I went.

Anyway, I didn't see any gringos there.

They have a bunch of archeological stuff just sitting on both sides of a sidewalk.

Then you have some bigger museum space but it was closed when I was there.

Instead, they put some of its attractions in some side building as they were doing some work in the main building.

I saw everything in like 20 minutes.

You don't really need more time unless you find this pre Hispanic archeological stuff very interesting.

I didn't care for it too much but it looked kinda cool.

They also seem to hold events here every so often as they gave me some pamphlet that had some events going on later in the month.

Anyway, if you got anything to add, drop a comment below.

And follow my Twitter here.

Enjoy the photos below.

Thanks for reading.

Best regards,

Matt
