I'm going to keep this article simple because it's more for me to look back later as a source for any future barrios of CDMX that I might wish to spend at least a month in but don't have the time to do so right now and have to prioritize other areas of CDMX instead.
So something for the future.
They are simply areas that stuck out more than most neighborhoods but haven't had the time to spend a month in as I have been traveling all around Mexico City.
To anyone reading this, perhaps you might like some of these barrios too.
Here they are anyhow:
Tepito (might actually try this one before I take my break from CDMX in the coming year).
San Miguel Teotongo
San Pedro Atocpan
Mixquic
Chimalhuacan in Estado de Mexico
The general around around Alcaldia Tlahuac and next to the Lago de Los Reyes Aztecas
Peñón de los Baños
San Juan de Aragon
La Viga
Chimalistac
Anyway, that's all I got for now. As I said, this is just a quick resource and maybe it'll help someone else.
Enjoy this sonidero music. Can you guess which of the neighborhoods in this list invented this music?
If you have any suggestions for other neighborhoods, drop them below in the comments.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Matt
